I have the following information to pass on to you, and suggest that you pass it on to your members, to ensure they are up to date with Provincial and Grand Lodge Matters:

Your Lodge Summons
Pointers to help ensure regularity.
  1. Ensure you use the latest Constitutions & Regulations- they are now included in the back of the annual YEAR BOOK - 2015-2016 is now published and available from Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons.
  2. Election of WM - page 435 Section VI Reg 97(i).
  3. Election of MMM Treasurer, page 436 Reg 108(i).
  4. Election of RAM Commander and Treasurer - is page 459 Section XII Reg 14.
  5. Election of Auditors, at Installation page 440 Reg 132(ii).
  6. See page 28 of the Provincial Year Book for Approved Abbreviations for Ranks and Officers.
  7. It is usual to list honorary members in Rank Seniority Order- take a look at the Honorary Members listed for your Lodges entry in the 2015 Year Book.
  8. Regular Officers- page 435 reg 96 particularly note sections:-
    (i) The regular Officers of the Lodge are the Master, two Wardens, three Overseers, Treasurer, Registrar of Marks, Secretary, two Deacons, Inner Guard and Tyler
    (iii) Save by dispensation from The Grand Master, or in a Province or District, from the Provincial or District Grand Master, no Brother shall hold more than one regular Office, but a Brother may hold one of the additional offices together with a regular office.

    This means that one brother cannot hold more than one of the Offices listed i.e. the Secretary cannot be the Registrar of Marks as well, except by dispensation.
