A Lodge of Mark Master Masons was then opened. The Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, W.Bro. James Hill, was admitted and advised the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Nigel Graham, that the Assistant Provincial Grand Master was in the ante room and he demanded admission to the Lodge. The Assistant Provincial Grand Master entered in procession with the Provincial team and was welcomed by the Worshipful Master, was presented with the gavel and took the Chair. He said how pleased he was to be visiting Percy Lodge officially for the very first time.

The Assistant Provincial Grand Master spoke about the various ongoing initiatives, especially events in support of the 2022 Festival. He then had much pleasure in presenting a Grand Patron Collaret to W.Bro. Michael Blythe thanking him for his support for the Festival. He introduced the Provincial team, took the minutes and vacated the Chair. A ballot for Advancement was conducted in respect of Bro. Ian Mason, a Master Mason of Astolat Lodge No 4848, and W.Bro. Rowland Gbedemah, Worshipful Master of Woking Lodge No 6264. This proved in their favour and Bros. Ian and Rowland were admitted and advanced to the Honourable Degree of a Mark Master Mason by the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Nigel Graham, and the officers of the Lodge in an excellent manner.

Further to a Notice of Motion, the Lodge proposed to donate the sum of £1,000 towards the 2022 Festival. This was approved by the Brethren and the Worshipful Master had much pleasure in presenting a Green Slip to the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W.Bro. Steve Jones, who promptly gave it to the Festival Treasurer, W.Bro. Dave Bardon who was there as a member of the Provincial Team. The Assistant Provincial Grand Master thanked the Brethren of Percy Lodge for their kind donation and for their continuing support for the 2022 MBF Festival.
