Mark Master Masons of Surrey
A visit to Sussex by the Sea

In April a number of Surrey Mark Masons attended the Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Sussex held at the Charmandean Centre in Worthing.

A visit to Sussex by the Sea

The delegation from Surrey included the Provincial Grand Master, RW.Bro. Ian Clark; the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW.Bro. Richard Baker; and the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W.Bro. Chris Eley.

The meeting was opened by the Provincial Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother, Martin Wilson, who welcomed the many guests and visitors. The RW Provincial Grand Master re-appointed VW. Bro. Roger Richardson as Deputy Provincial Grand Master and W.Bro. Christopher Farrow as Assistant Provincial Grand Master. The RW Provincial Grand Master then appointed and invested the Provincial Grand Officers for 2018-2019. After investing his Officers he addressed Provincial Grand Lodge.

Provincial Grand Lodge was then closed in due form.

After the meeting the Mark Master Masons of the Province of Sussex and their guests sat down to a splendid meal in the dining room of the Charmandean Centre. After the meal RW.Bro. David Ashbolt, Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Province of London, presided over a game of heads and tails to see who would win one of Jerry Gangadeen’s cakes.
