Visit to the Provincial Mark Grand Lodge of Berkshire

In September a number of Surrey Mark Masons attended the Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Berkshire.

The meeting was held at the Berkshire Masonic Centre, Sindlesham, and was presided over by the Provincial Grand Master, RW.Bro. Richard Olliver.

The delegation from Surrey included the two Assistant Provincial Grand Masters and the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies. Also present was VW.Bro. Ted Melber, PAProvGM; W.Bro. John Billett, the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies for Middlesex, a member of Collingwood Lodge of Mark Master Masons in Surrey; and two new members of Mark Lodges in Surrey, RW.Bro. David Ashbolt, Provincial Grand Master of London and VW.Bro. Jerry Gangadeen, Assistant Provincial Grand Master of London.

After the meeting the Mark Master Masons of the Province of Berkshire and their guests sat down to a splendid meal in the dining room of the Berkshire Masonic Centre.

After the meal RW.Bro. David Ashbolt presided over a game of heads and tails to see who would win one of Jerry’s cakes.
