After the Lodge was opened the Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, W.Bro. Paul Kerswell, was admitted and advised the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. David Grimmer, that the Very Worshipful Deputy Provincial Grand Master was in the ante room and demanded admission to his Lodge.

The Deputy Provincial Grand Master entered in procession with the Provincial team, was presented with the gavel and took the Chair. He said how pleased he was to be visiting Stoneleigh Lodge again and how much he was looking forward to the afternoon’s proceedings. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master introduced the Provincial Team, including W.Bro. Chris Eley, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, who was acting as Secretary for the meeting. He then took the minutes and vacated the Chair.

W.Bro. Norman Woodfin was inducted into the Chair of The Stoneleigh Lodge of Mark Master Masons by the Worshipful Master. The Address to the Master was given by W.Bro. Chris Eley, to the Wardens by W.Bro. Brian Owen, to the Overseers by W.Bro. John Burger and to the Brethren by VW.Bro. Richard Baker. The Charity Steward proposed that a sum of £409 be donated from the Lodge Benevolent Fund to the Mark 2022 Festival, along with the proceeds of the raffle at the Festive Board. The Deputy Provincial Grand Master gratefully received the cheque and thanked the Brethren of Stoneleigh Lodge for their support for the Festival.
